Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 SEN support

Fixed Term Contract (linked to the child)
Working Pattern: Term time (39 weeks)
Working hours: Full time (9-3.30pm)
Salary: F SCP 7-10 (depending on experience)
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with a specific need, to help her access and engage with varied learning opportunities.

The role will be for full time and requires the applicant to have an ability to relate with children enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly. To overcome barriers by relating learning to real life, whist trying to broaden experiences.
Ideally this person will have had experience of working with children on the SEND register, preferably one to one. An awareness or experience of autism would be advantageous but not essential if the candidate is self-motivated to study specialist knowledge.
