My favourite work in Literacy this term was when we looked at comic books. We read some and looked at the way they were written and then made up our own. Mine was about a good dog and a bad rabbit.

This term in science we have been looking at how things change. I liked taking about how we have changed since we were a baby. We all brought in pictures of ourselves and had to guess who was who. It was really fun.

We have also looked at skeletons in Science this term and talked about different parts of the body. We put together our own skeletons. It was quite tricky and a bit fiddly.

In Geography we have been looking at different types of weather. We set up a weather station and recorded the weather over a week. We had lots of rain. We turned our results into a bar chart and put them on display in the classroom. It was really good.

We have had great fun in History this term learning about the Romans. We had a Roman week and even went on a trip to Chedworth Roman Villa. My favourite part of the whole week was when we dressed in togas and had a market day and feast. We had all sorts of Roman foods to try but the best thing were the mice (chocolate of course).
— Chloe

My favourite part of Art this term is when we did our own seasons pictures. We thought about the sorts of colours we see in different seasons and made pictures to show this. We also collected things from outside the classroom and made big autumn collages. It was really exciting.
— Harry

My favourite part of DT was when we made our Autumn dream catchers. We used some wire to make a circle shape and then wrapped tissue paper around that to make it look nice. We then made a web out of wool to catch all the bad dreams in. To make them look even better we hung some conkers on them. They look really good.

I like doing things with the Ipod. This week we recorded ourselves talking about what we like doing in our spare time. We all spoke into the microphone and said our names and the things we enjoy doing. We listened to it when we had finished and sounded it so so so so funny. We all laughed!!

The best part of this term was when West Midlands Safari Park came into school. They brought loads of animals but my favourite were the snakes. They were long and thin and felt really rubbery.
