Spring Fever
Spring Fever is based on a well established and successful Dutch programme for children aged 4 to 11 years, with a strong evidence base that demonstrates the positive impact it has had.
Relationship and Sex ed Programme for primary schools
Spring Fever is a Relationship and Sex ed programme tailored to the sexual development phases of children those in Reception class up to those in Year 6. It offers an age appropriate, year-by-year method of acquiring the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed as the children develop. The programme builds in knowledge each year along with children’s curiosity and understanding of their own personal developments. From undertaking the Spring Fever programme, children also better understand relationships and sexual health in a fun and responsible way.
Schools that have delivered the Spring Fever package, have found that children have become more open to discussing relationships and sex as well as experiencing fewer problems in the interaction between boys and girls. Furthermore, children have shown to be more confident to correct undesirable behaviour from classmates and feel better prepared for the personal developments that they will face.
